It was completely dry when we went and felt a little like a ghost town… but made it easy to walk along the creek bed when we wanted.

Hot on a September afternoon, but there was good shade on most of the trail we did. Pretty rocky with fairly challenging elevation at times but plenty of near flat stretches of packed dirt. Amazing hike. Very easy with other splits for a more moderate hike if you want.

Most of the creek was dry but there is a swimming hole at sculpture falls a little ways down! Gorgeous swimming spot. Yes some trash and dog doo, but still incredibly beautiful. Highly recommend going early in the morning on an off day.
